Job summary

Okland Construction in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator to lead all aspects of electrical estimating for large-scale industrial and semiconductor projects. You will guide conceptual budgets through GMP pricing, working with owners, engineers, and trade partners to build accurate, competitive estimates.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of electrical estimating experience on large projects.
• Deep knowledge of electrical construction methods, materials, labor, and procurement practices.
• Experience developing conceptual through GMP pricing.
• Strong cost‑planning and budgeting skills.
• Ability to lead value engineering and risk analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of conceptual to GMP electrical estimates.
• Own complete electrical estimate deliverables including takeoffs, pricing, labor productivity, indirect costs, escalation and contingency recommendations.
• Coordinate with owners, engineers, trade partners and project leadership to develop estimates.
• Lead electrical subcontractor prequalification, bid package development, bid leveling and scope alignment.
• Drive value engineering to improve constructability and reduce project cost.
• Maintain electrical estimating databases, labor units, assemblies, and historical cost information.
