Job summary

gpac is assisting a well-established local electrical contractor in Cleveland to hire an experienced Electrical PM/Estimator who will estimate and manage electrical projects locally from bidding through completion.

The role requires 5+ years in electrical construction, hands-on estimating and project management, and the ability to review drawings, manage budgets, and coordinate with GCs and subcontractors on commercial and industrial work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical construction experience.
• Experience in both electrical estimating and project management.
• Strong commercial and/or industrial electrical background.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Strong understanding of electrical materials, labor, and construction methods.
• Experience with estimating software such as Accubid, ConEst, McCormick, or similar.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and estimates.

Responsibilities

• Estimate local commercial and industrial electrical projects
• Review drawings, specifications, scopes, and bid documents
• Complete material and labor takeoffs
• Develop project estimates and competitive bids
• Manage awarded projects from contract through completion
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and profitability
• Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
• Coordinate with General Contractors, customers, vendors, and subcontractors
• Work closely with Superintendents and Foremen in the field
• Assist with project turnover and ensure successful project execution
