Job summary

Rosendin Electric is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead bid development for electrical construction projects. You will prepare estimates, review drawings, and coordinate with suppliers and clients to ensure competitive proposals.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in CM/Engineering, at least 4 years of estimating experience, and proficiency with Accubid, Livecount Cloud, and Bluebeam. Travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CM, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years estimating experience in construction.
• Experience with Accubid, Livecount Cloud and Bluebeam preferred.
• CAD or 3D software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimate from quantity take-off on project and complete estimate to computer printout.
• Identify parts of project that may be key to a competitive estimate.
• Review proposal specifications, drawings, and attend pre-bid meetings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.
• Evaluate areas for potential value engineering cost savings.
• Provide leadership to personnel preparing discipline sub estimates for assigned bids.
• Ensure all working documents and data are maintained to back-up estimate figures.
