Job summary

Special Recruiting Projects is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator in California who can lead the estimating team, mentor junior staff, and drive cost analysis across bids. The role requires deep knowledge of electrical estimating practices and strong collaboration with operations, subcontractors, and design teams.

You will manage takeoffs, quantify works, and ensure accuracy of budgets and cost histories while participating in bid reviews and development of alternative delivery proposals.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience as a Sr. Electrical Estimator

Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor estimators and training; contribute to personal growth of reports.
• Lead bid reviews and organize the bid team with means, methods, schedule and strategy.
• oversee cost data collection, actual vs estimated, and maintenance of project cost history.
• Lead estimating team with timely roll-out and execution of the estimate deliverable process.
• Create detailed crew and production cost estimates and review prices with estimating team.
