Rosendin Electric is seeking a Senior Estimator to prepare and complete bid documents and cost estimates for electrical construction projects. You will lead estimating efforts, collaborate with estimators, suppliers, and customers to finalize the estimate.

You will review drawings, attend pre-bid meetings, and drive value engineering while maintaining thorough documentation and a strong focus on accuracy and competitive pricing.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field required.
• Minimum 4 years estimating or related experience in construction.
• Experience with estimating software (Accubid, Livecount Cloud, Bluebeam) preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare estimates from quantity take-offs.
• Identify key parts for competitive estimates.
• Review drawings and attend pre-bid meetings.
• Evaluate value engineering opportunities.
• Lead discipline sub-estimates for bids.
• Maintain backup documents for estimate figures.
• Develop labor productivity and unit costs.
• Solicit quotes from qualified suppliers.
• Draft bid scope and proposals.
• Provide detailed review to Chief Estimator.
• Explain scope after project turnover and ensure smooth transition.
• Maintain estimate files and Rosendin estimating program.
