Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. is seeking a Senior Estimator in the United States to lead bid and estimate efforts for electrical construction projects.

You will collaborate with estimators, suppliers, and customers to prepare accurate cost estimates and compelling bid packages. You will review drawings and specs, perform quantity take-offs, and identify value engineering opportunities while ensuring timely delivery of client-required documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years' estimating or related experience in construction.
• Experience with Accubid estimating software, Livecount Cloud, and Bluebeam preferred.
• Experience with CAD or 3D software is preferred.
• Combination of education, training, and relevant experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimate from quantity take-off and complete the estimate for printing.
• Identify key parts of a project for a competitive estimate.
• Review specifications, drawings, and attend pre-bid meetings to define scope.
• Evaluate areas for potential value engineering cost savings.
• Lead personnel preparing discipline sub estimates for bids.
