Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. is seeking a Senior Estimator to prepare bid and cost estimates for electrical projects. You will lead estimating efforts, review drawings, and coordinate with estimators, suppliers, and customers to deliver competitive bids.

Requires a bachelor’s in Construction Management or Engineering and 4+ years of estimating experience, with proficiency in Accubid, Livecount Cloud, and Bluebeam. Travel up to 10% may apply.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and engineering drawings to determine scope.
• Perform arithmetic estimates and project pricing.
• Prepare detailed bid/submittal documents and cost estimates.
• Mentor Estimators and coordinate with teams.
• Identify value engineering opportunities and manage quotes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates from quantity take-off and finalize detailed costs.
• Review specs, drawings and attend pre-bid meetings.
• Solicit quotes from qualified suppliers/subcontractors.
• Lead discipline sub-estimates and maintain backup documents.
• Explain scope and pricing to Chief Estimator and project teams.
