Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. in Pflugerville, TX is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead bid development for electrical construction projects. You will prepare estimates, review drawings, and coordinate with suppliers and project teams to ensure competitive, accurate bids.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Construction Management or Engineering and at least 4 years of estimating experience, with proficiency in Accubid, Livecount Cloud, and Bluebeam. On-site work with travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and/or engineering drawings.
• Perform arithmetic calculations required for estimating.
• Estimate all types of projects and coordinate and supervise group work effort.
• Mentor and assist with the development of Estimators.
• Identify and meet customers' needs, expectations, and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimate from quantity take-off and complete estimate to computer printout.
• Review proposal specifications, drawings, and attend pre-bid meetings to determine scope of work.
• Evaluate areas for potential value engineering cost savings.
• Provide leadership to personnel preparing discipline sub estimates for bids.
• Prepare detailed listing of material and equipment items for the estimate and to obtain quotes.
• Identify qualified suppliers/subcontractors and solicit quotes; review quotes for conformance with plans and specs.
