Job summary

Pearson Carter is seeking a Head of Electrical Engineering for AI Infrastructure across Australia or Singapore with regular travel across the APAC portfolio. You will lead a distributed team, oversee MV/LV distribution, UPS, generators, switching, protection and power quality, while ensuring technical governance from bid to handover.

The role demands deep experience in electrical design governance, basis of design development, and managing cross-country delivery across high-availability

Qualifications

• 12 years' electrical engineering experience in data centers or power systems.
• Strong expertise in MV/LV distribution, UPS, generation and protection.
• Experience with power system modelling (load flow, short-circuit).
• Experience leading multi-site engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a geographically distributed team of site-based electrical engineers.
• Own electrical engineering execution across MV/LV distribution, UPS, generators, switching, protection and relay coordination.
• Provide technical governance from tender and detailed design through construction, commissioning and handover.
• Manage design reviews, deviations, change control, FAT/SAT and commissioning readiness.
• Work with Construction, Commissioning, Operations, Mechanical/Thermal, Controls and Networking teams.
• Manage consultants, contractors, EPC partners, utilities and vendors.
• Feed site learnings and commissioning outcomes back into reference electrical design standards.
• Ensure consistent electrical engineering standards across multi-country environments.
