Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or related degree from an ABET accredited program with minimum 7 years electrical engineering experience.
• Bachelor Degree in Electrical or related Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited program with FE exam and minimum 7 years electrical engineering experience.
• Master Degree in Electrical Engineering and minimum 6 years electrical engineering experience.
• Expert knowledge in standard engineering techniques and procedures; strong knowledge of electrical equipment design ANSI and IEEE Standards; strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design of projects from conceptual phase through design completion.
• Prepare electrical equipment specifications, RFQs, technical bid summaries, and purchase recommendations.
• Review electrical equipment vendor drawings and interface data with suppliers and other disciplines.
• Develop project schedule, scope, budget, staffing, construction planning, and manage change orders.
• Quality review production drawings and construction administration; coordinate with field personnel to resolve design issues.
• Lead field inspections and provide calculations for public and private clients.
• Prepare and present technical reports for clients and industry publications.
• Build relationships with clients and contractors; identify new business opportunities and pursue key pursuits.
• Lead development of cost proposals and project budgets; report performance.
