Job summary

Stantec’s water business in California seeks an Electrical Engineer to lead design and engineering across multiple projects. As Engineer-of-Record, you will size and specify electrical systems, prepare construction packages, and estimate costs.

Expect field investigations, client meetings, and mentorship for junior staff. You will use AutoCAD, Revit, and Bentley tools while coordinating with internal teams and external partners in Irvine and Pasadena.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and PE licensure.
• 7+ years of experience in electrical engineering for water/wastewater facilities.
• Ability to lead teams and manage project scope, budget, and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Act as Engineer-of-Record for projects and components.
• Design, size, specify electrical systems and equipment.
• Develop construction packages, drawings, and specifications.
• Lead project meetings with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers.
