Knobelsdorff is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the Energy division with electrical design, analysis, and optimization for solar and BESS projects. You will deliver constructible, code-compliant designs and collaborate with project managers, customers, and regulators to ensure technical quality and customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes safety, People, Passion, and Performance, with opportunities to visit job sites and contribute to cutting-edge renewable energy solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent education and experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in solar, renewable energy, or power systems design.
• Working knowledge of the NEC and applicable renewable energy standards.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, PVCase, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Design and analyze electrical systems for solar and BESS installations.
• Create system layouts, stringing plans, voltage drop calcs, and specifications.
• Support construction with site visits and technical reviews.
• Develop and maintain system drawings, equipment specifications, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, NESC, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, customers, and regulators.
• Review vendor submittals and coordinate with procurement.
• Maintain accurate documentation within project databases.
• Provide feedback and improvements based on field conditions.
• Assist with permitting and interconnection requirements.
• Travel to job sites as needed
