Job summary

Valar Atomics is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead MV/LV electrical design for nuclear fuel manufacturing facilities. You will set technical standards, direct power system studies, and engage with clients and regulators.

This role requires leadership across design disciplines and a strong safety culture. You will mentor junior engineers, coordinate with I&C and civil teams, and manage vendor programs from pre-qualification to factory audits, ensuring timely delivery and compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 5+ years leading complex MV/LV design programs.
• Proficiency in power system analysis software (SKM/ETAP).
• Experience leading substation design from concept to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain electrical load lists and perform power system studies (load flow, short circuit, voltage drop).
• Prepare arc flash analysis and grounding calculations.
• Create single line diagrams and layout drawings for MV/LV systems.
• Specify equipment and review vendor drawings and test reports.
• Lead vendor pre-qualification, bid evaluation, and safety/compliance reviews.
