Job summary
Valar Atomics is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and delivery of MV/LV electrical systems for nuclear fuel manufacturing facilities. The role carries principal technical authority for the electrical discipline—setting engineering standards, directing power system studies, and engaging directly with clients and regulators.
You will mentor junior engineers, coordinate with I&C and civil teams, and oversee substation design and protection schemes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 5+ years of leadership in MV/LV design programmes.
- Proficiency in power system analysis software (SKM/ETAP).
- Knowledge of industrial/process electrical standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead MV/LV design for nuclear fuel manufacturing facilities.
- Perform power system studies including load flow and short circuit.
- Develop single line diagrams, cable schedules, and layouts.
- Specify MV/LV equipment and protection schemes.
- Prepare relay settings, wiring diagrams, and tests.
- Coordinate with I&C, civil, and structural teams.
