Job summary

CMTA, a Legence company, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with 8+ years of experience to design and oversee electrical systems, power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems for a variety of projects. This onsite role is based in our Cincinnati office and involves collaboration with a team of engineers to deliver energy-efficient building solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in MEP design and related projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide design and construction projects internally within the office and externally with clients and contractors.
• Provide guidance, support, mentorship, and leadership to staff engineers.
• Prepare, read, and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Professionally stamp drawings, prepare affidavits, etc.
• Interact with owners, clients, architects, and contractors; lead meetings as needed.
• Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques and criteria to tasks.
• Confer with other engineers and personnel to meet deadlines.
• Apply engineering principles to meet project requirements and evaluate designs.
• Design and specify system components to ensure conformance with project goals.
• Research and analyze client design requirements and data to evaluate feasibility and costs.
• Review contractor submittals for conformance with documents.
