Job summary

CMTA, a Legence Company, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with 8+ years of consulting experience to design and oversee electrical systems, power distribution, lighting and lighting controls, emergency power, UPS, and low-voltage coordination for a variety of bid and construction projects.

The role is onsite in our Chattanooga, TN and Atlanta, GA offices, where you will lead design efforts, review drawings, mentor staff engineers, interact with owners and contractors, and ensure

Qualifications

8+ years of MEP design experience.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Experience with internal and external project management.
Experience with healthcare, higher education, K-12 and commercial market sectors.
Experience with Revit/AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

Lead and guide design and construction projects with clients and contractors.
Provide guidance and mentorship to staff engineers.
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Stamp drawings and prepare affidavits.
Coordinate with owners, architects, and contractors.
Review submittals for conformance.
