Job summary

CMTA, a Legence company, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with 8+ years of consulting experience. You will design and oversee electrical systems, power distribution, lighting, and low‑voltage coordination for a variety of projects, working onsite in our Phoenix office.

The ideal candidate has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, strong MEP design experience, Revit/AutoCAD skills, and proven project leadership with client relationships in healthcare, higher education, and commercial markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required
• 8+ years of experience in MEP design and consulting engineering
• Experience with Revit/AutoCAD and project management capabilities

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee electrical design across projects, including power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage coordination
• Prepare and stamp drawings, specifications, and affidavits as needed
• Coordinate with owners, clients, architects, and contractors to meet project deadlines
• Mentor junior engineers and guide design teams
• Review submittals for contract conformance and ensure design quality
