Job summary

CMTA, a Legence Company, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with 8+ years of consulting experience to design and oversee electrical systems, power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage coordination for healthcare, higher education, K-12 and commercial projects. The role is onsite in CMTA's Chattanooga, TN and Atlanta, GA offices.

You will lead design efforts, mentor staff engineers, review drawings and specs, and coordinate with owners, architects, and contractors to ensure project

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in MEP design and consulting engineering.
• Experience with healthcare, higher education, K-12, and commercial markets.
• Experience in internal and external project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and construction projects within the office and with clients/contractors.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to staff engineers.
• Prepare and read technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Review submittals for contract conformance.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, and engineers to meet deadlines.
