Heartline Staffing is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for an onsite role in Bloomington, Minnesota. The engineer will lead the design of tools and machines for HVAC/R products, guiding projects from planning through production and mentoring junior engineers.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and 8+ years of progressive experience in product design, with strong leadership, English communication, and CAD/EDA proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• 8+ years of experience in new product design is required.
• Understanding of the New Product Development process is required.
• Experience with low-voltage PCBA and circuit design is required.
• Experience with electronic design automation software is required.
• 3D CAD knowledge is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of tools, machines and accessories for HVAC/R products.
• Manage projects from planning and design through production solutions.
• Develop product specifications and production-ready documents.
• Mentor engineers and supervise up to two direct reports.
• Coordinate with testing, vendors and manufacturing for product readiness.
• Maintain and update production documentation and BOMs.
