Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 8 years of progressively demanding experience in new product design.
• Understanding of the new product development process.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• Knowledge of lean principles.
• 3D CAD knowledge.
• Electrical: experience with PCBA design.
• Electrical: circuit design experience.
• Electrical: EDA software experience.
• Proficient in reading/writing English.
• Highly organized and self-motivated.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and development of tools, machines for HVAC/R markets.
• Lead other engineers in tool and machine design on projects.
• Evaluate progress and results of projects you lead.
• Own project goals with milestones and multi-engineer scope.
• Mentor Engineer I–III on complex issues.
• Provide technical leadership bringing concepts to production.
• Design test plans and perform testing.
• Provide advanced production line support.
• Develop product specifications and coordinate with vendors.
• Prepare BOMs for ECM systems and participate in stage gates.
