Job summary

CP Engineers is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to provide technical leadership and mentorship within our electrical team. You will oversee design work for commercial, industrial, and municipal projects, review drawings, and ensure compliance with NEC/IBC codes.

The role involves hands-on design support, project scoping, budgeting, and occasional travel up to 10%. Hybrid/remote work options are available along with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license for PA preferred or required.
• Minimum 7–10 years of electrical engineering experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical design software.
• Strong technical leadership and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
• Review and seal electrical drawings per state PE requirements.
• Oversee modeling with SKM/ETAP/EasyPower.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams on projects.
• Support field visits and client communications.
• Lead QA/QC and ensure regulatory compliance.
