Job summary

CP Engineers seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to provide technical leadership and drive electrical design across commercial, industrial, municipal, and infrastructure projects. You will develop scopes and budgets, oversee design work, and review drawings to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.

The role includes hands-on design support, mentoring junior engineers, and coordinating with cross-disciplinary teams. Travel up to 10% for site visits and client meetings may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7-10 years of electrical engineering experience with leadership
• PA PE license (ability to obtain NJ PE)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical design software
• Strong client engagement and cross-disciplinary collaboration
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for power distribution, lighting, and control systems across projects
• Review, sign, and seal electrical drawings and specifications
• Mentor junior engineers and review designs for accuracy and constructability
• Coordinate with mechanical, civil, and water resources groups on multi-disciplinary projects
• Support QA/QC and regulatory compliance across all deliverables
• Engage with clients to define scope, requirements, and technical expectations
