Job summary

Henderson Engineers is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Leader to guide complex building electrical systems. You will drive design from concept through completion, lead discipline teams, and ensure quality. A PE license and 12+ years of experience are required.

The role emphasizes mentorship, client coordination, and strategic development of projects across venues, airports, and arenas. Strong Revit/Bluebeam skills and MEPL experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, fire protection, or architectural engineering.
• 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Certifications such as RCDD, NICET, CPD, LEED, WELL preferred.
• Strong Revit, Bluebeam, and construction process knowledge.
• Ability to lead discipline coordination on large projects.
• MEP/construction industry experience.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering design from concept through completion for complex projects.
• Prepare design documents, system layouts, drawings, schematics, and specs.
• Provide discipline-wide technical guidance.
• Mentor designers and engineers.
• Support staffing, training, and technical strategy.
• Oversee quality reviews for standards compliance.
• Communicate with clients and manage conflicts.
• Lead business development efforts and relationships.
• Serve as Engineer of Record when assigned.
