Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, fire protection, or architectural engineering.
• 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Advanced to expert proficiency in electrical design, codes, Revit, Bluebeam, and construction processes.
• Ability to lead discipline coordination and manage large-scale projects.
• MEP/construction industry experience.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering design from concept through completion for large projects.
• Oversee design documents, layouts, drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Provide technical guidance for advanced engineering problems.
• Mentor and coach teams, including junior designers and engineers.
• Support staffing, training, and technical strategy initiatives.
• Ensure quality through final reviews and standards compliance.
• Communicate with clients, resolve conflicts, and respond to design questions.
• Support business development and maintain client relationships.
• Serve as Engineer of Record when assigned.
