Henderson Engineers is seeking an Electrical Design Engineering Manager to lead a team within our established client sector. The role combines hybrid technical leadership with people management, driving design excellence and project delivery across complex building systems.

Responsibilities include mentoring staff, coordinating multi-disciplinary efforts, and delivering drawings, calculations and design documents while upholding Henderson's guidelines and standards. PE license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, fire protection or architectural engineering is preferred.
• Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in engineering design and related disciplines.
• Proficiency with Revit and Bluebeam Revu is required.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to mentor and guide team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers and designers within the sector.
• Direct design documents, system layouts, drawings, schematics and specifications.
• Coordinate with clients, architects and other disciplines to ensure project success.
• Foster continuous learning and apply Henderson's design guidelines and standards.
• May act as Engineer of Record (where applicable) and lead project coordination.
