Job summary

Henderson Engineers is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead design from concept through completion on complex, large-scale venues. You’ll guide documents, layouts, schematics, and specifications while mentoring teams and shaping technical strategy.

The role emphasizes client-focused delivery, quality, and collaboration across practices to meet project goals. Ideal candidates bring 12+ years in electrical design, a PE license, and proficiency with Revit and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, fire protection, or architectural engineering.
12+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering/design.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
Certifications (e.g., RCDD, NICET, CPD, LEED, WELL) are highly preferred.
Advanced proficiency in electrical design, codes, and construction processes.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical engineering design from concept through completion for large-scale projects.
Direct preparation of design documents, layouts, schematics, and specifications.
Provide discipline-wide technical guidance on complex engineering problems.
Mentor and coach designers and engineers across teams.
Participate in staffing decisions, training, and technical strategy development.
Ensure quality through final reviews and adherence to standards.
