Job summary

Matrix Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer specialized in Industrial Power Systems and Distribution. You will lead design, analysis, and implementation of LV/MV power systems for manufacturing and process facilities, collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior engineers.

The role involves EPC/design-build projects, client-facing work, and guidance through startup and commissioning, with a flexible hybrid work setup to support professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology (BSEE/BSEET) from an ABET-accredited institution.
• 6+ years of electrical engineering experience in industrial facilities or related industries.
• Experience designing low-voltage electrical power distribution systems for industrial facilities.
• Knowledge of NEC and industrial electrical design practices.
• Experience developing electrical construction documents and design packages.
• Strong communication and project execution skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical power system design projects for industrial and manufacturing facilities.
• Develop electrical construction packages including one-line diagrams, power plans, equipment layouts, conduit plans, cable schedules, and installation details.
• Design low- and medium-voltage power distribution systems, including switchgear and transformers.
• Perform electrical system analysis (Arc Flash, Short Circuit, Coordination, Load Flow, Power System Modeling).
• Develop technical specifications and equipment procurement packages.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with clients, contractors and suppliers.
• Support construction activities, commissioning, startup, and field troubleshooting.
• Promote Matrix engineering standards, quality and safety.
