Job summary

SAIC seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead troubleshooting and support for HWIL environments in the development and test of a next‑generation hypersonic missile system. You will work on real‑time operations, electrical diagnostics, and weapon‑system level verification.

The role requires on‑site support at NSWC Crane, with hands‑on access to lab hardware, interfaces, and high‑fidelity simulation equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline with 2+ years of experience.
• Experience with HWIL environments and real-time test systems.
• Interim secret clearance to start, with ability to obtain secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot HWIL testbeds including sensors, avionics, and embedded computing.
• Diagnose root causes of hardware failures and timing anomalies.
• Verify electrical integrity, grounding, and signal quality in test racks.
• Support integration of new missile subsystems and instrumentation.
• Document steps and collaborate with engineers and lab operators.
