Job summary

Raytheon’s HWIL Department in Tucson designs and builds advanced missile flight simulation environments to support tactical software development and delivery for missiles to the warfighter. You will join a multidisciplinary team focusing on design, development, and integration of cutting-edge test systems and interfaces.

The role emphasizes engineering excellence, cost/schedule management, and hands-on testing with state-of-the-art equipment.

Qualifications

• STEM degree and minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
• Professional electrical engineering design experience from circuit card level to full system.
• Experience with tools such as Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, Creo Schematic, Xilinx Vivado.
• Advanced experience with test equipment (Oscilloscopes, DMMs, Network Analyzers, Power Meters).
• Proficient in schematic capture and interpreting schematics.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance; U.S. citizenship required; remote work not allowed.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate missile flight simulation systems as part of multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop engineering and production test systems and interface adapters.
• Manage technical, cost, and schedule aspects of assigned projects.
• Identify and resolve issues in development and implementation of test products.
