You will architect HWIL environments, integrate hardware/software, and manage real-time test executives in closed-loop simulations. The role demands eight-plus years in HWIL or related fields, strong C/C++ and Linux proficiency, and excellent collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Software, Computer, Electrical, or similar Engineering field and 8+ years in HWIL or related.
• Experience building and operating real-time, closed-loop HWIL environments.
• Proficient with Linux and real-time operating systems.
• Fluent in C/C++ for real-time applications.
• Strong system-level debugging across hardware/software.
• Experience integrating test equipment and high-speed I/O devices.
• Clear documentation of architectures, design decisions, and test results.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead design and architecture of complete HWIL systems (simulation, real-time control, I/O, instrumentation).
• Define HWIL system requirements, interfaces, and integration strategies.
• Integrate weapon system hardware/software with real-time simulation environments.
• Configure, operate, and maintain real-time test executives for closed-loop testing.
• Select and integrate PCIe and high-speed I/O into RTOS environments.
• Develop stimulation/emulation strategies for flight software and sensors.
• Lead test planning, execution, data review, and performance assessment.
• Coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams for end-to-end HWIL capability.
