Job summary

RTX's Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) Department in Tucson, AZ is seeking a seasoned engineer to design, develop, and integrate missile flight simulation systems. You will work with weapon system designers to understand requirements, build test environments, and support production testing and delivery for missiles to the warfighter.

You will contribute to all stages of product development from design to systems-level integration, manage technical, cost, and schedule aspects, and resolve issues in

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) required.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain US security clearance; US citizenship required.
• Onsite work in Tucson; remote work not possible.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate missile flight simulation systems as part of multidiscipline teams.
• Develop engineering and production test systems, interfaces, and cabling.
• Perform technical, cost and schedule management for assigned projects.
• Identify and resolve issues during development and implementation of test products.
