Job summary

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) invites a HWIL Systems Engineer to ensure operational readiness of the RSSL at AEDC, Arnold Air Force Base. You will manage lab configurations, support pre-test evaluations, and partner with engineers and vendors to enable robust simulations and troubleshooting.

You will lead modernization and testing initiatives, ensure secure lab operations, and interface with system admins and SMEs to support mission-critical testing programs.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Computer Engineering with 8+ years aerospace/test/R&D experience including HWIL.
• Or, a high school diploma with 12+ years of professional technical experience in HWIL or ICS.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active DoD security clearance; US Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain readiness of RSSL and lab configurations for pre-test evaluations.
• Lead lab configuration management and testing readiness for multiple facilities.
• Collaborate with System Administrators, Data SMEs, and external vendors (e.g., MathWorks).
• Drive modernization efforts: regression testing, reflective memory replacement, footprint consolidation.
