Job summary

Raytheon Company, Managed by Collins Aerospace in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to shape secure, high-speed digital electronics for ground, airborne, and space platforms. You will design CCAs, FPGA, memory, and collaborate across systems, software, and mechanical teams. This on-site role requires a STEM degree with 5+ years' experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years, and the ability to obtain a U.S.

government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).

Qualifications

• End-to-end circuit card development experience from concept through verification.
• Expertise in digital design for 12+ layered PCBs with DFM/DFT knowledge.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design high-speed digital CCAs from requirements to production.
• Optimize signal/power integrity via modeling, simulation, hardware tests.
• Apply DTC, DFM, DFT to ensure producible, cost-effective designs.
• Support hardware verification, DVT, factory transition and RCA.
• Collaborate across Systems, Software, and Mechanical Eng teams as primary technical interface.
