Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for the RCP Hardware group, onsite in Cedar Rapids, IA. Role focuses on designing high-speed digital CCAs, ensuring signal integrity, EMI control, and manufacturability throughout the hardware lifecycle.

The candidate will work with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-performance hardware for ground, airborne, and space platforms, including collaboration with Systems, Software, and Mechanical Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Expertise in digital design for 12+ layer PCBs with DFM/DFT.
• End-to-end circuit card development from concept to verification.
• Proficient with PCB design tools and SI/PI analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design high-speed CCAs from requirements through production.
• Optimize SI/PI via modeling, simulation, hardware validation.
• Apply DTC/DFM/DFT principles for producible designs.
• Support hardware verification, testing, RCA and production readiness.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Systems, Software, and Mechanical teams.
