Job summary

Collins Aerospace seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer in Cedar Rapids to design high-speed digital CCAs for ground, airborne, and space platforms. You will shape secure communications hardware, from concept through production, collaborating with cross-functional teams on rigorous verification testing. Required is a STEM degree with 5+ years of experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years.

U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD secret clearance are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end circuit card development from concept to verification.
• Proficiency with PCB fabrication, controlled impedance, and design verification testing.
• Experience with high-speed digital PCBs (12+ layers) and DFM/DFT.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design high-speed digital Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) from requirements to production.
• Optimize SI/PI with modeling, simulation, and validation.
• Apply DTC, DFM, DFT for producible, cost-effective designs.
• Support hardware verification, DVT, and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with Systems, Software, and Mechanical to align program objectives.
