Job summary

Collins Aerospace, part of RTX, seeks an experienced electrical engineer to design, analyze, simulate, test, and integrate digital electronic modules and CCAs for mission systems. You will handle circuit card design with processors, FPGAs, memory, and interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, and UART.

You will capture requirements and verify electronic packaging, present technical information, and drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
• Experience in design of electronic products and tooling for high reliability and extended life

Responsibilities

• Design, analysis, simulation, test, and integration of digital electronic modules and CCAs
• Circuit card design including hardware with processors, FPGAs, memory and interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, UART)
• Requirement capture and verification for electronic packaging circuit cards
• Present project technical information to peers and customers
• Identify root causes and implement corrective actions for project/factory problems
• Schematic capture and PCB layout design experience
• Coordinate tasks between cross-functional teams to align with project objectives
