Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors seeks an Electrical Engineer to perform front end phase electrical load studies, ETAP modeling, and design calculations for switchgear and transformers. The role requires 3+ years of related industrial experience and a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

You will work under supervision, interact with drafting teams, and support field startup activities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the NEC and electrical design standards.
• Ability to size wiring, conduit and overcurrent protection for lighting and power.
• Ability to perform voltage drop calculations and load calculations.

Responsibilities

• Perform front end phase electrical load studies and ETAP modeling.
• Produce design calculations and sketches for electrical construction.
• Review vendor drawings and prepare electrical installation documents.
• Provide field support during startup and construction.
• Coordinate with drafting and other disciplines for project delivery.
