Job summary

Hargrove Engineers + Constructors is seeking an electrical engineer to perform front-end load studies, ETAP modeling, and specification reviews for switchgear and transformers. You will work under general supervision on projects, developing detailed calculations and sketches for construction materials.

Qualifications

• KNOWLEDGE of NEC and electrical codes in design reviews.

Responsibilities

• Perform front-end electrical load studies and ETAP modeling.
• Review and develop construction specifications and drawings.
• Check vendor drawings for electrical/instrumentation input.
• Produce installation details, motor control center layouts, and wiring diagrams.
• Conduct fieldwork to gather data and support tie-ins.
• Coordinate with design leaders to ensure timely project delivery.
