Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Federal Power and Energy Team, with the opportunity to work from our Madison, WI office or other locations across the U.S.

You will design electrical systems, develop project diagrams, perform calculations, prepare reports, and mentor junior engineers. Travel within the US and internationally may be required to support diverse projects.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited electrical engineering degree or equivalent.
• 7+ years of post-education electrical engineering experience delivering design for capital projects.
• Professional Engineer license and ability to pass security background check (US citizenship).

Responsibilities

• Design and provide electrical engineering deliverables for various projects.
• Develop single-line and three-line diagrams, layouts, grounding, and lighting.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations explaining findings and recommendations.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and provide guidance to junior engineers.
