Henderson Engineers seeks a Sr Electrical Engineer to join our growing team across multiple markets, including Washington DC, Dallas, or Phoenix. The role leads complex electrical building system designs, mentors staff, and partners with clients and contractors to deliver innovative solutions.

The ideal candidate is a licensed PE with strong Revit/Bluebeam Revu skills and a track record in design-build environments, capable of guiding projects from concept to completion.

Qualifications

• PE license required to practice engineering in the field.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering preferred; 12+ years experience may be required if no degree.
• Strong knowledge of Revit and Bluebeam Revu is expected.
• Experience with design-build projects and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Directs and oversees the preparation of design documents, layouts and specifications.
• Leads project design efforts from concept through completion.
• Reviews drawings for conformance to plans and specs.
• Mentors junior designers and engineers across teams.
• Maintains client relationships and supports business growth.
• Ensures quality, schedule, and cost adherence across projects.
