Henderson Engineers seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer/Designer to lead the design of electrical building systems for mission-critical and data center projects. You will guide engineering efforts, coordinate with project teams, and ensure technical excellence across designs and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, fire protection, or architectural engineering.
• 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred; required for EORs.
• Advanced certifications (RCDD, NICET, CPD, LEED, WELL) highly preferred.
• Expert proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, and construction processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for complex or large-scale projects from concept to completion.
• Oversee design documents, layouts, drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Provide technical guidance across teams and disciplines.
• Mentor designers and engineers and support staffing and training.
• Lead quality reviews to ensure standards compliance.
• Communicate with clients and manage project relationships.
• Support business development and client relationships.
• Serve as Engineer of Record when assigned.
