Job summary

Henderson Engineers, a leading electrical design firm, is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to guide complex projects. You will lead design from concept through completion, mentor staff, and ensure quality while coordinating with clients and teams on mission-critical data center projects.

The role requires 12+ years of experience, PE preferred, and advanced proficiency in Revit and construction processes. Hybrid opportunities exist in many markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• 12+ years of relevant experience.
• PE license strongly preferred; required for EORs.
• Expert proficiency in electrical design, codes, Revit, Bluebeam and construction processes.
• MEP/construction industry experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering design from concept through completion for large projects.
• Prepare design documents, layouts, drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Provide discipline-wide technical guidance and problem solving.
• Mentor and coach designers and engineers.
• Participate in staffing, training, and technical strategy development.
• Provide quality oversight and final reviews to ensure standards compliance.
• Communicate with clients and lead business development efforts.
• Serve as Engineer of Record when assigned.
