Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer – Subject Matter Expert to act as a technical authority for electrical infrastructure supporting hyperscale and mission-critical facilities. You will shape electrical strategy from utility interconnection through the IT load and provide direction, reviews, client guidance, and mentorship.

You will lead electrical architecture, MV/LV distribution, substations, and power studies while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across global delivery

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited electrical engineering degree required.
• Active Electrical PE license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction; multiple licenses preferred.
• 15–20+ years in electrical engineering with data centers or mission-critical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical architecture from utility connection to IT load.
• Provide senior technical leadership for MV/LV distribution, switchgear & UPS systems.
• Perform/oversee load-flow, short-circuit, arc-flash, coordination studies.
