Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer – SME to act as the technical authority for electrical infrastructure supporting hyperscale and mission-critical facilities across the United States. You will guide design from utility interconnection through the IT load, provide client guidance, and mentor teams.

Ideal candidates bring 15–20+ years in data centers or high-reliability environments, with expertise in MV/LV distribution, protection, and power studies, plus strong leadership and design

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• PE license (Active) in at least one US jurisdiction; other licenses encouraged.
• 15–20+ years of professional electrical engineering experience; data centers or mission-critical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical architecture decisions from utility service through IT load.
• Provide senior leadership for MV/LV distribution, substations, switchgear, UPS, and paralleling.
