Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer – SME to act as a technical authority for electrical infrastructure supporting hyperscale, colocation, AI/HPC, and other mission-critical facilities in the United States. You will shape electrical strategy from utility interconnection through the IT load and mentor junior engineers.

Ideal candidates have 15–20+ years in data centers or high-reliability facilities, with PE licensure and strong experience in MV/LV distribution, protection, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from ABET-accredited program.
Active Electrical PE license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
15–20+ years of professional electrical engineering experience with mission-critical facilities.
Advanced expertise in MV/LV distribution, switchgear, transformers, generator plants and paralleling, UPS systems.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical architecture decisions from utility service through IT load.
Provide senior leadership for design and project delivery of critical-power systems.
Review calculations, studies, and major design packages for quality and compliance.
