Jacobs is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer – SME to act as a technical authority for electrical infrastructure supporting hyperscale, colocation, and mission-critical facilities across the US. You will shape electrical strategy from utility interconnection through IT load and provide direction, reviews, client guidance, and mentorship.

The role emphasizes leadership in MV/LV distribution, design governance, and commissioning, with travel up to 25%.

Competenze

ABET-accredited electrical engineering degree required.
Active Electrical PE license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
15–20+ years of professional electrical engineering experience.
Experience with data centers, mission-critical facilities or high-reliability facilities.
Knowledge of NEC/NFPA/IEEE standards.

Mansioni

Lead electrical architecture decisions from utility to IT load.
Provide senior leadership for MV/LV distribution, substations, switchgear and UPS.
Review/perform power studies using ETAP, SKM, EasyPower or equivalent.
Govern design quality through independent reviews of specs and drawings.
Support project delivery from conception to turnover; manage RFIs and changes.
Mentor engineers and contribute to standards and governance.
