Job summary

HDR is seeking an Electrical/Senior Electrical Engineer to join a leading TMT practice. The role focuses on electrical design for data center and mission-critical projects, coordinating with clients, project managers, architects and engineers to deliver comprehensive construction documents.

The ideal candidate will mentor junior staff, drive technically excellent designs, and ensure schedule adherence across the full project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis.
• Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.
• Experience designing electrical systems for buildings (lighting/power/systems).
• Strong familiarity with data-center/mission-critical projects.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and manage junior engineers and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Lead electrical design for data center/mission-critical projects from concept to construction documents.
• Coordinate with clients, PMs, architects, engineers, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Develop feasibility studies, construction documents, specifications and engineering calculations.
• Perform RFIs, shop drawing reviews, site investigations, and construction administration.
• Travel to job sites and HDR offices as required.
