Job summary

HDR Engineering seeks an Electrical/Senior Electrical Engineer to join a large, multidisciplinary team working on data centers and mission-critical infrastructure. You will design electrical systems, coordinate with clients, project managers, architects, and other engineers to deliver robust construction documents.

You will mentor junior staff, lead design meetings, prepare feasibility reports and RFIs, and oversee site observations. PE license and Revit MEP proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis.
• Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.
• Experience in electrical design of buildings (lighting/power/systems).
• Strong computer skills using AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Revit, SKM, AGI and Easy Power.
• Experience in data center/mission critical projects.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for data centers and mission-critical facilities from start to finish.
• Coordinate with clients, PMs, architects and engineers to develop design documents.
• Prepare feasibility reports, construction documents, specifications and calculations.
• Review RFIs, shop drawings, and conduct site investigations and construction administration.
• Lead electrical discussions in design meetings and provide design oversight.
