Job summary

HDR is seeking an Electrical/Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Tech, Media and Telecom practice, supporting data center and mission-critical buildings. You will design projects from start to finish and coordinate with clients, project managers, architects, and other disciplines.

Preferred candidates hold a PE license, a Bachelor's in Electrical or Architectural Engineering with Electrical emphasis, and experience with Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and power systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis (required).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or required where applicable.
• Strong computer skills with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, SKM, AGI and Easy Power.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and lead a multidisciplinary electrical team across data center projects.
• Design electrical systems for data centers and mission-critical facilities from concept to construction documents.
• Coordinate with clients, project managers, architects, and other disciplines.
• Support construction with site observations, RFIs, submittals, and shop drawing reviews.
• Travel to project sites and HDR offices as needed.
