Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer – SME to act as a senior technical authority for electrical infrastructure supporting hyperscale, colocation, AI/HPC and mission-critical facilities. You will shape electrical strategy from utility interconnection through the IT load, providing direction, independent review, and client guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from ABET-accredited program; Master's degree preferred.
• Active Electrical PE license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction; NCEES record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical architecture and basis of design from utility service through IT load.
• Provide senior technical leadership for MV/LV distribution, substations, switchgear, and UPS systems.
• Review calculations, studies, drawings, and specifications for design packages.
• Support project delivery from concept to turnover; assist RFIs and technical changes.
• Lead AI/HPC power strategy for high-density data centers and emerging tech.
• Mentor engineers and drive technical governance within delivery teams.
